The Texas A&M Women's Lacrosse team was established in the Fall of 1993. Since our beginning we have continued to grow our team and the skills we possess.
While we do receive yearly funding from Texas A&M Sport Clubs, we are not always able to predict the outcome of our season and sometimes things surprise us and we find ourselves in search of additional funds. We have a nice little nest egg saved up for events such as going to Nationals, however we have big plans for the money we have such as starting an endowment program and planning additional out of state trips to boost the strength of our program.
For these reasons, we would like to fundraise as much as possible, so that we don't have to sacrifice one thing for another. Because we are a Sport Clubs team, we are not allowed to collect from outside sources, however if you wish to donate to our team, you are able to do so through the Texas A&M Foundation. In order to assure that your donation is going exactly where you want it to go, please follow the instructions below:
Individuals can make donations to accounts not listed on the Texas A&M Foundation's website.
1. Go to giving.tamu.edu
2. Click box that says - Give Now.
3. Under "Designations", click the circle "Contribute to a fund not listed online".
4. Below the "Designations" a box will appear that states, "Enter name or number for fund not
listed online:" here the donor will need to enter the name of the group they wish to donate to.
Below is a letter explaining the donation process. Through the foundation donations are tax-deductible, if you write a check directly to TAMU Women's Lacrosse it is not tax-deductible.
